Terms & Policies
General Terms (Applicable to All Offerings)
These principles apply to all facilitators, practitioners, and collaborators engaging with Healing Holidays:
Documentation & Content Use
Healing Holidays may engage a professional photographer or videographer to document selected elements of each retreat for the purpose of building our brand content library. We take care to document respectfully, with minimal disruption to guests or sessions.
All imagery and footage captured by or for Healing Holidays remains our intellectual property. We retain the right to use this material for future marketing, storytelling, and promotional use unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We will always notify facilitators in advance if photography or filming is planned, and are happy to discuss opt-outs or sensitive session boundaries as needed.
Medical & Therapeutic Disclaimer
Healing Holidays offers supportive, culturally grounded experiences that can work alongside therapeutic care — but we are not a substitute for professional medical advice, psychiatric care, or crisis services.
We expect all facilitators and 1:1 clients to be aware of this distinction. If at any point a participant’s needs exceed the scope of what the retreat container can safely support, we will advise referral to appropriate clinical care.
Confidentiality & Data Protection
All collaborators agree to maintain confidentiality regarding client data, retreat content, and private communications.
Liability & Insurance
All facilitators and co-hosts are responsible for maintaining their own relevant professional and public liability insurance. Healing Holidays is not liable for outcomes resulting from individual therapeutic sessions or independent actions during retreats.
Cancellation & Refunds
Cancellation and refund terms vary depending on the offering (see individual agreements). Where deposits are required, they are generally non-refundable unless otherwise agreed.
Payment Terms
Payment schedules and fees will be outlined clearly per retreat or agreement. Late payments may incur penalties.
Visa & Travel Responsibility
Healing Holidays can support or manage visa procurement for facilitators, depending on the retreat model. Specific arrangements are outlined in your contract.
Dispute Resolution
We prefer to handle all disagreements through honest dialogue. If needed, a neutral mediator may be brought in before any formal dispute resolution is considered.
Facilities
Our retreat venues are carefully selected to provide comfort and relaxation. Facilities may include private pools, wellness areas, yoga spaces, and communal dining areas. Specific amenities vary by location, and details will be provided for each retreat.
Medical Concerns
Our retreats are designed for relaxation and wellness but are not a substitute for medical treatment. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements, please inform us at the time of booking so we can assess if our retreat is suitable for you. Certain activities may require clearance from a healthcare provider.
For those attending trauma release retreats, it is essential that you are currently under the care of a licensed mental health professional. These retreats can only proceed with their ongoing support, and you will need to keep your scheduled appointments while on retreat to ensure your healing process remains uninterrupted.
Travel Regulations
Please note that Healing Holidays is not responsible for arranging flights, travel insurance, customs clearance, or any other aspects of your travel to Indonesia unless specifically arranged. We do offer flight bookings and other travel arrangements for an additional fee. It is the responsibility of each guest to ensure they have the appropriate travel documents, including a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity remaining and any necessary visas. We also recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover any unexpected events during your trip.
For up-to-date travel requirements and regulations for entering Indonesia, please check with your local embassy or consulate before booking your retreat. We are happy to assist with general information but cannot take responsibility for any travel-related issues.
