A therapist-led retreat for women ready to work intentionally with their relational patterns.

In Relation is a five-day core retreat, with the option to extend to six or seven days for rest and integration. It takes place in Ubud, Bali, and is designed for women who feel emotionally fatigued, stuck in familiar relationship dynamics, or disconnected from their bodies and boundaries.

Led by trauma-informed therapist Sam Forbes, this retreat focuses on regulation, clarity, and repair through therapeutic work, Balinese healing, and body-based practice.

This is a deliberate pause. Time set aside to do meaningful work, held carefully, and supported throughout.

Meet Your Facilitators

Sam Forbes
Sam is a trauma and relationship therapist with more than 30 years of clinical experience. She leads the therapeutic work on retreat, bringing a steady, trauma-informed presence and evidence-based practice into a contained, supportive environment.

Jade Gunn
Jade is the founder of Healing Holidays and your on-the-ground event manager in Bali. She holds the container around the retreat — logistics, cultural coordination, and care — so guests can focus fully on their healing within a calm, well-held structure.

Iluh & Ketut
Iluh and Ketut are our local Balinese hosts. Through their guidance, guests are welcomed into traditional healing and ceremony with care, respect, and cultural integrity, grounded in real relationship rather than transaction.

From 1 February 2026, all packages increase by $200.
A further small increase will apply closer to the retreat start date for any final-release places.
All prices are in AUD and are per person.
To make things simple, payments are made in three steps:
1. First Payment – Deposit
- $350 non-refundable deposit
- Due when you book
- Secures your place and locks in your current price tier
2. Second Payment
- Minimum $371
- Due by 23 February 2026
- You’re welcome to pay more than the minimum if you’d like to spread out the cost
- By this date, your total paid will be at least $721
3. Final Payment
- Remaining balance
- Due by 2 April 2026
If the retreat does not go ahead (for example, if minimum numbers are not reached), you’ll receive a full refund of all payments made.
If you need to cancel:
- Before 23 February 2026
  - Your $350 deposit is non-refundable
  - No second or final payment is required
- Between 23 February and 24 March 2026
  - Deposit ($350) is non-refundable
  - 50% of your second payment is refunded
  - Any other payments made are refunded in full
- After 24 March 2026
  - All payments are non-refundable
  - You may transfer your place to another suitable participant with prior approval
If Healing Holidays cancels the retreat:
If we need to cancel the InRelation retreat for any reason (including not reaching minimum numbers), you’ll receive a full refund of everything you’ve paid.
